Hermann Thorisson is Managing Director at Horn Fjárfestingarfélag hf. Horn Fjárfestingarfélag hf. is an investment company fully owned by Landsbanki hf., the largest bank in Iceland. In 2006 Hermann joined Landsbanki Islands hf., first as Senior Equity Analyst at Landsbanki Research and later with Proprietary Trading. From 1995 to 2005 Hermann held various positions at the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration both in Iceland and in Eastern Europe. Hermann graduated with a B.Sc in Finance from the University of Iceland.

Magnus Gustafsson
Magnus Gustafsson is the former President and CEO of Icelandic USA Inc. Icelandic USA is a subsidiary of the Icelandic Group Plc. Mr. Gustafsson earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Odense Technical College in Denmark in 1966. From 1966 to 1972, he worked for the Confederation of Icelandic Employers as a management consultant.In 1973, he became President and CEO of Hampidjan Inc. an industrial company in Iceland, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of fishing gear. In 1984 Mr. Gustafsson moved to the USA. From 1984 to July 2005 he was the President and CEO of Coldwater Seafood Corporation now Icelandic USA Inc. In November 2005 Mr. Gustafsson became the Consul General of Iceland in New York.

Steinar Helgason
Steinar Helgason is a Finance Director at Horn Fjárfestingarfélag hf., an investment company fully owned by Landsbanki hf, the largest bank in Iceland. From 2002 – 2009 Steinar was a Senior Fund Manager at Landsvaki hf., an Assets Management Company. Prior to that Steinar worked for Fjárvakur, a subsidiary of Icelandair hf. and at Búnaðarbanki Íslands hf. (bank) in Corporate Finance from 2000 to 2001. From 1995 to 2000 he worked for an audit and accounting firm, which later became Moore&Stephens. Steinar holds a Business Degree from the University of Iceland.

Elín Jónsdóttir
Elín is an independent advisor at the Law office Lögmenn Bankastræti. She was the director general for the Icelandic state‘s holding company in Financial Companies, the ISFI, from January 2010 – December 2011. From 2005 – 2009 she was the managing director of Arev Securities and from 2001 – 2005 she worked for the Financial Supervisory Authority (FME). In addition Elin was a lecturer in Securities Law at the University of Iceland from 2002-2006. Elín holds a law degree from the University of Iceland and an LL.M. degree from Duke University School of Law and she has completed the Icelandic Examination in Securities Trading.

Herdís Fjeldsted
Herdís has been with the Enterprise Investment Fund (EIF) since 2010. Before joining EIF, Herdís was a member of the investment team of the venture capital firm, Thule Investments. Prior to that she worked at the Reykjavik Savings Bank and Icelandair. Herdís has a diploma in industrial operations, specialising in marketing, and a B.Sc. in international business administration. She is a certified Securities Broker and holds a M.Sc. Degree in corporate finance from the University of Reykjavík.

Finnbogi Jónsson
Finnbogi has extensive experience in various sectors of the Icelandic economy. He has worked in the Ministry of Industry (1979-82) and served as Managing Director of IFE Invest Ltd (1982-86), CEO of Síldarvinnslan hf. in Neskaupstadur (1986-1999), and CEO of Iceland Seafood (1999-2000). He served as Executive Chairman of Samherji from 2000-2005 and as Managing Director of SR-Mjöl from 2004-2006.
For the past several years, Finnbogi has been Managing Director of the New Business Venture Fund. He has also participated in the boards of a large number of companies and has held various positions of trust in the Icelandic business sector.
Finnbogi received degrees in physical engineering and business economics from the University of Lund in Sweden and the University of Iceland. He has also pursued studies in management and international business at ISM in Paris.

Bergrún is a corporate analyst at Horn Fjárfestingarfélag hf. Horn Fjárfestingarfélag hf. is an investment company fully owned by Landsbankinn hf., the largest bank i Iceland. Before joining Horn in 2009 Bergrun was with Skjarinn ehf. and before that Kaupthing Bank hf. from 2005-2009. Bergrun is B.Sc. in Busienss from the The University of Iceland and M.Sc. in Finance from Reykjavik University.

Kristinn Pálmason

Kristinn is an investment manager at the Enterprise Investment Fund (EIF). Before joining EIF he was a project manager at Vestia ehf., a holding company acquired by EIF in the beginning of 2011. From 2002 until 2008 Kristinn managed several roles within Landsbanki´s M&A advisory, corporate restructuring departments and London Branch leveraged finance. As part of his role in EIF and Vestia he has served on the boards of directors of various companies in Iceland. Kristinn completed a M.Sc. degree in corporate finance at the University of Reykjavik in 2010 and a B.Sc. in business administration in 2003 at the same university.
