Magnús Jónsson
Chairman of the Board
Magnus Jonsson is the CEO of Atorka Group. Mr. Jonsson was a fund manager at Kauthing Bank 1998-2001 and the managing director of the venture capital fund Uppsretta the following year. From 2002 to 2005 he was the managing director of Ránarborg hf. and related investments, while serving at the same time on the board of several companies, including Iceland Drilling, Afl Investments, MP Securities, Sæplast and others. He was also Chairman of the Board of Parlogis hf., A. Karlsson hf., and Atorka. From February 2004, Mr. Jonsson was Chairman of Atorka´s Board of Directors. In April 2005 he became Executive Chairman and was subsequently appointed CEO of the company in November 2005.

Benedikt Olgeirsson
Benedikt Olgeirsson is the managing director of restructuring projects at Atorka Group, since September 2005. From 1993-1997 Mr. Olgeirsson directed the operations of Eimskip in the Reykjavik container terminal Sundahöfn. For the following two years he was director of the company´s domestic transport division. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Olgeirsson was managing director for Eimskip in Hamburg. From 2004-2005 he was managing director of the Atorka subsidiary Parlogis hf.

Magnus Gustafsson
Magnus Gustafsson is the former President and CEO of Icelandic USA Inc. Icelandic USA is a subsidiary of the Icelandic Group Plc. Mr. Gustafsson earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Odense Technical College in Denmark in 1966. From 1966 to 1972, he worked for the Confederation of Icelandic Employers as a management consultant.In 1973, he became President and CEO of Hampidjan Inc. an industrial company in Iceland, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of fishing gear. In 1984 Mr. Gustafsson moved to the USA. From 1984 to July 2005 he was the President and CEO of Coldwater Seafood Corporation now Icelandic USA Inc. In November 2005 Mr. Gustafsson became the Consul General of Iceland in New York.

Jakob Sigurðsson
Jakob Sigurðsson joined the Board in March 2007. Mr. Sigurðsson is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at deCODE, a biopharmaceutical company with headquarters in Iceland. Mr. Sigurðsson was formerly CEO and President of Alfesca, a multinational foods group with major operations in Iceland, the UK, France and Spain. Prior to his position at Alfesca Mr. Sigurðsson held senior positions in the United States and Europe for Rohm and Haas Company, a NYSE-listed specialty materials company. Mr. Sigurdsson holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Iceland and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Smári Rúnar Thorvaldsson
Mr. Smari Thorvaldsson joined the Promens board in March 2007. Mr Thorvaldsson is a Director within the Proprietary Trading & Private Equity team at Landsbanki. After graduating with a bachelors degree in Economics from The University of Iceland Mr. Thorvaldsson worked as an equity analyst at Islandsbanki (Glitnir) from 1998 – 2000 and from 2000 to 2001 in the corporate finance team at the bank. From 2001 to 2003 he worked as a proprietary trader at Bunadarbanki Islands now Kaupthing Bank. In May 2003 Mr. Thorvaldsson joined Landsbanki’s Proprietary Trading & Private Equity division. Mr. Thorvaldsson is serving on the board of several companies on behalf of Landsbanki.
