Promens implements new structure for its packaging division.
01.12.2008
Promens has implemented a new structure for its Packaging Division based on a segmental approach. The new structure replaces the former geographical approach. Three key segments have been defined; Chemical Packaging, Food & Beverage Packaging and Personal & Healthcare Packaging. Each of these segments requires a focused and specialized approach to be able to serve the widely diverse needs of its customers.
A vital part of the segment approach is to create stronger links between the segment management and the operational units with the ultimate objective of improving customer service and responsiveness.
The three segments will be managed as follows:
• VP Promens Chemical Packaging will be Dragan Stjepanovic, with the following units reporting to him: Promens Ettlingen, Neumunster, Winsen, Witzenhausen, Gorzke, Gent, Aigle, Blyes, Bjaeverskov, Kongsvinger, Turku and Klaukkala.
• VP Promens Food & Beverage Packaging will be Svein Egestad with the following units reporting to him: Promens Kristiansand, Kambo Packaging, Stilling, Kolding and Lidköping, Stjordal
• VP Promens Personal & Healthcare Packaging will be Pierre Sabatier with the following units reporting to him: Promens Bellignat, Geovreisset, La Roche-sur-Foron, Milan, Florence, Barcelona, Langeskov, Warsaw and Yekatrineburg.
• The Promens units in the UK, located in Beccles, Deeside and Thetford, will continue to work outside the new structure for the time being. Bob Bedford continues as VP Promens Packaging UK, reporting directly to the SVP Packaging.
Senior Vice President Jeroen Hooft continues to lead the Promens packaging division.
The new organization structure took effect on November 1.
