Aqualife, the transport and distribution container for life shellfish, manufactured by Promens Farum in Denmark has been awarded the prestigious WorldStar awards at a meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, on October 16th, 2008.

WorldStar 2008 attracted 224 entries from 32 countries around the world. Out of this 134 were selected as WorldStar winners 2008 by a jury from the World Packaging Organisation and the International Packaging Press Organisation (IPPO).

The Aqualife tank was also one of six entries nominated for the “best-of-the-best” President’s Award.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of the President’s Award will be announced and awarded at the Award Ceremony for the WorldStar winners in Mexico City, Mexico, May 13th, 2009.

As previously reported the Aqualife tank has previously been awarded the Nordic Scanstar packaging awards and Silver in the Dutch Innovation Awards.
