AirFree opens new oportunities for the cosmetic industry

A new product from Promens, AirFree, has sparked a lot of intrest in the cosmetic industry. AirFree uses EVOH, the only plastic material recognized for its low permeability rate, offering a reinforced protection from oxygen before and after use. AirFree’s pump does not allow any air to re-enter the product and, unlike piston-based airless systems, AirFree offers 100% water-tightness. As a protective shield for sensitive formulas the AirFree technology meets current expectations of preservatives reduction.

AirFree CK Among those already using AirFree is Calvin Klein who has chosen AirFree to launch its first make up collection and especially the Infinite Matt Oil-Free foundations.
In closed collaboration with Calvin Klein, Promens has developed a bottle with an internal multi layer pouch using the Promens AirFree technology in co-extrusion.
The high restitution rate and the multi-position offer a maximal use of the product.

Promens has won a CosmetiqueMag Award with its AirFree technology for Calvin Klein foundations as well as Bronze award at last years Starpack Summit.

With AirFree, any container shape is possible as can be seen on the picture below.
