Ragnhildur Geirsdottir
President and CEO
Ragnhildur Geirsdottir joined Promens hf. in January 2006 as President & CEO. Ragnhildur is the chairman of the board of a number of Promens subsidiaries. She is also on the board of Morgunbladid, a leading Icelandic newspaper and of Tolvumyndir, an international software company located in Iceland. Before joining Promens Ms Geirsdottir worked for FL Group hf. from 1999 where she was Director of Resource Management from 2003 and Managing Director in 2005. Ms. Geirsdottir has a MS degree in Industrial Engineering and in Business from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a CS degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Iceland.
Adrian Platt
Chief Financial Officer
Adrian Platt has been the CFO of Polimoon since October 2000 having acted as Finance Manager at Polimoon Deeside in the UK from 1993. Before joining Polimoon, he worked as Audit Manager from 1986 at Deloitte & Touche and is a qualified UK Chartered Accountant who holds a degree in Chemistry from Liverpool University.

Jon Sigurdsson
Senior Vice President Procurement
Jon Sigurðsson, was appointed SVP Procurement in July 2007. He was the CFO of Promens ince its establishment in 2005, and at Sæplast from 2004. From 1999 to 2004 Mr. Sigurdsson was the Director of Investment at Framtak Investment Bank, Iceland before which he worked for the Coca Cola from 1991 to1999, first as CFO for the Bottler in Iceland and later as the Manager of Financial Analyzis and Bottlers support and Manager in Business Development at the Divisional office in Oslo, Norway. From 1986 to 1991 Mr. Sigurdsson was the CFO of Hans Petersen hf. (Kodak in Iceland) and business consultant for Hagvangur Consulting 1980 to 1986. Mr. Sigurdsson has a Cand. oecon. degree from the University of Iceland.
Jeroen Hooft
Senior Vice President Packaging
Jeroen Hooft, the SVP Packaging, has been SVP of Packaging Continental Europe of Polimoon since 2002. Prior to joining Polimoon he held management positions with Stonhard (synthetic floorings), Wavin (plastic piping systems) and Dyrup (paint manufacturer). Jeroen has a degree in Physical Therapy from the HIPB Gent.
Erik Feijen
Senior Vice President Components
Erik Feijen, the SVP Components, held the same position at Polimoon from 2002. Prior to joining Polimoon he held several managerial positions in automotive supply companies like Brabant Components and Arvin Meritor. He started his career at BMW München. He has a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master Degree in Business Administration.

Aart Fortanier
Senior Vice President Rotational Molding
Aart Fortanier, the SVP Rotational Moulding, has been heading Promens’ rotational moulding production in Europe since the company acquired Bonar Plastics in 2005. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Bonar Plastics in the Netherlands and Northen Europe from 1999. Before joining Promens/Bonar Plastics, Aart worked for General Electric where he held a number of management positions, worked for DASA - Fokker Aircraft and at Polynorm BV as a product developer for automotive applications. Aart graduated from the Technical University of Delft-Netherlands and has a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
Gestur Thorisson
Senior Vice President Business Development
Gestur Thorisson was appointed SVP of Business Development in September 2007.
Between 2001 and 2005, he held key management positions in the fields of operations research, asset planning, distribution and trade marketing at USA based Georgia Pacific. Gestur has specific experience of acquisitions and mergers having most recently worked as Vice President at Kaupthing Bank.
Gestur received a MSc in Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSc in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from University of Iceland.
