1991	The company became RIM-Tech following the privatization of the former Rubber and Plastics Technology Research Institute in Zlín, Czech Republic.
2005	RIM-Tech was acquired by Norwegian based Polimoon Group
2007	Polimoon was acquired by Icelandic based Promens Group

The present
Over the years, the Promens Zlin has gradually developed into a Tier 1 development and system supplier of large area plastic parts made by DCPD-RIM, PU-RIM, PA-RIM as well as vacuum forming technology for various automotive and non-automotive industries. Continuously growing, Promens Zlin is an important contributor within Promens Components division.
