Process description

Polymer is injected into a preform mould, which consists of a fully finished neck and a tube, which will later form the body of the product. The preform is conditioned with zoned heaters to the optimum temperature for stretching. The blow mould is positioned around the preform body and a stretch mould pin is inserted which stretches the preform to the finished product length. High-pressure air then inflates it to full size and shape within the mould. The finished product is then cooled and discharged.
