Promens' shellfish tank, Aqualife, wins awards

Aqualife, a transport and distribution container for life shellfish, manufactured by Promens Farum in Denmark, has been awarded the Nordic Scanstar packaging awards and Silver in the Dutch Innovation Awards. The system allows life shellfish to be transported across the Globe by sea, which considerably lowers transportation costs and CO2 emissions compared to the traditional airfreight.

Promens responds to high raw material cost

Promens has announced to its customers that in the second half of 2008 it is forced to increase its prices to customers. This increase is driven by historically high raw material prices as well as increases in energy, transport and other costs.
